Fete Trains from Dereham and Wymondham
Sunday 26th June 2011: Hardingham Fete Train
In June 2011, the Mid Norfolk Railway ran fete trains to Hardingham station to enable passengers to travel on to the village fete.
Dereham to Hardingham
A Steam Hauled* Fete Train departed Dereham at 12:00.
A Diesel Hauled Fete Train* departed Dereham at 13:00.
Wymondham Abbey to Hardingham
A Steam Hauled* Fete Train departed from Wymondham Abbey at 13:10.
A free bus shuttle service was provided by the Eastern Transport Collection to carry the party the short distance from Hardingham Station on to Hardingham Fete at the village green in the centre of Hardingham.
The bus returned passengers to Hardingham Station in order to connect with the last train back to Dereham or Wymondham.
