Constitution & Policies

BAG has a Constitution & Policies and a Child Protection Policy and Guidelines, both of which were comprehensively updated/revised in April 2009. A further review/update is due in April 2010 but developments with the ISA may require further changes. The documents are automatically reviewed at least annually.

The Child Protection Policy with Guidance and Procedures was developed from the Breckland District Council model with advice from the Norfolk Local Safeguarding Children Board.

BAG is very happy to give permission for anyone to copy all or any part of these documents and adjust or amend them for their own use. Recognition of the source is not required. Anyone developing a Child Protection Policy should ask their Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) to check and comment on it before adoption.
